Chris has 25 years of experience within the automotive, aerospace and safety sectors. After graduating, he started his career as a Graduate Trainee in the automotive sector before moving into management consultancy for three years. He then joined Smiths Industries Aerospace Division where he took up his first senior management position.
He then went on to join Kidde Graviner in 1996 (Williams plc which became Kidde plc and then UTC) and held his first Managing Director position in the safety sector (Aerospace and Military Vehicle Fire and Explosion Protection). He subsequently held various Managing Director and Divisional Managing Director roles in the safety sector before leaving in 2007, having gained a wide experience of M&A alongside operational responsibility.
Chris joined KIG Holdings in 2007 and began the formation of Kee Safety, a new private equity backed global safety business. Chris also holds a Non-Executive Director position at Angus International Safety Group, another safety sector business.
