Katerina joined Dunedin in 2016. She is responsible for providing administrative support in London and organises Dunedin’s corporate hospitality programme.

Can you tell me what you think is special about Dunedin?

Dunedin’s culture has created a positive environment where we come together as one team of talented individuals and the sum is greater than all of the parts. We work in a very busy industry and the air around us is buzzing with energy – positive and powerful, we each feed off each other’s energy and become an eternal engine that will never stop chasing success.

Who or what inspires you?

Change! New things, new people, new ideas, new places I have never seen before. I enjoy the challenge of pushing through change and then the satisfaction once the targets have been achieved.

What has been your favourite or most memorable moment at Dunedin?

My favourite moments are corporate events and team get-togethers, Dunedin is exceptionally good at it! I am absolutely delighted to be a part of the events management team where I can bring my creative ideas to organise great entertainment for the team and our guests. Nothing feels better than having fun and enjoying good company while networking and building relationships. The most memorable moment would be my first Dunedin Christmas Party in Edinburgh’s famous Piano Bar ‘Fingers’, it’s a legendary place!

What gets you out of bed at the weekend?

I like to enjoy a long lie on Saturdays… but I also like hosting BBQ parties at my house and have guests for lunch on most weekends, therefore shopping for food and preparing for the party always gets me out of bed. Hunger can also get me out of bed at the weekend!
