What is the best advice you have ever received?
“Life is like a camera, if things don’t work out just take another shot”- I think it’s a more poetic way of saying don’t be afraid to try new things.
Who or what inspires you?
People like Steve Jobs. I think it’s inspiring to hear the success stories of people who relentlessly pursued paradigm shifting ideas or concepts in the face of widespread adversity.
What has been your favourite or most memorable moment at Dunedin?
Dame Katherine Grainger’s after-dinner speech at our Annual Partners’ Meeting sticks in my mind, her insight into a rower’s competitive training regime shed light on the level of commitment and resilience required to succeed at the highest level.
What gets you out of bed at the weekend?
A promising weather forecast, it’s always more enjoyable playing golf in the sun!
