Dunedin has promoted Nicholas Hoare and Simon Rowan to Partner, Andrew Davidson to Senior Associate and Katie Chung to Associate. The promotions follow a busy first quarter for the firm, which completed an investment in £80m Alpha FMC last month, as well as the sale of its equity stake in CitySprint in a £175 million transaction.
Nicholas Hoare joined Dunedin in 2007. He is responsible for sourcing and transacting deals focusing on Business Services and Healthcare. Nicholas was Chief Operating Officer at Dunedin in 2012/13 when the firm was raising its new fund. He was involved in the buyouts of EV Offshore, Red and CitySprint, and the exits of etc.venues and CitySprint. He sits on the Board of Steeper, as well as CitySprint following Dunedin’s re-investment in the company.
Simon Rowan joined Dunedin in 2008. He is responsible for for sourcing and transacting deals in the Midlands and focuses on the Industrial Services sector. He was involved in the buyouts of Blackrock PM, Kee Safety, Premier Hytemp, Red and Weldex. He was also involved in the exit of WFEL and sits on the Board of Pyroguard.
Andrew Davidson joined Dunedin in 2013. He is part of Dunedin's investment team and was involved in the buyouts of Alpha and Blackrock PM and represents Dunedin on the Board of Alpha. Katie Chung joined Dunedin in 2015. She is now part of Dunedin's Investment team having spent a year in the Origination and Research team, which identifies companies that meet Dunedin's investment criteria.
