Dunedin shortlisted for House of the Year award following strong performance

By Dunedin,  March 05, 2013

Dunedin has been shortlisted for ‘House of the Year’ at the forthcoming Real Deals Private Equity Awards

Dunedin, the UK mid-market private equity house, has been shortlisted for ‘House of the Year’ at the forthcoming ‘Real Deals Private Equity Awards,’ which recognise the very best performers from amongst over 600 European private equity firms.

The shortlist has been assembled following research carried out by Real Deals and Cass Business School and findings will be presented to a judging panel of respected industry practitioners for final deliberation.  Winners will be announced on April 16th at an event held at the London Hilton Hotel on Park Lane.

Shaun Middleton, managing partner of Dunedin comments: “We are very pleased to have made the shortlist for this category and that the hard work and dedication of the Dunedin team is being recognised by its peers.”

“The last year has been incredibly busy for Dunedin following three strong exits -the sales of both WFEL and Capula to international trade buyers and etc.venues to UK private equity.  In December, we invested in the £34.5 million management buyout of Premier Hytemp, a global leader in the manufacture and supply chain management of quality engineered alloy components for the offshore and onshore oil and gas industry.  We have also been working hard to support the growth of our portfolio and have completed a total of 14 portfolio acquisitions since 2011.”
