Dunedin Partner Oliver Bevan has been included in the “2019 Real Deals Future 40” list, which recognises those dealmakers setting the agenda for the future of European private equity. The judges were impressed by Oliver’s work on Dunedin’s MBO of niche insurance broker Acquis in May this year.
Real Deals appointed a judging panel to manage the selection process for the first time and partnered with Drax’s proprietary data analytics platform to identify the top dealmakers, based on deals that were completed over the last twelve months. The list was announced in the November issue of Real Deals.
Shaun Middleton, Managing Partner of Dunedin said “We are really proud that Oli has been included on this list, especially given that the selection process is even more competitive this year. Oli is a key member of the investment team at Dunedin and continues to make a significant impact to our business whether he is engaging with management teams, generating and negotiating deals or managing complex projects. He was integral in the successful closing of the Acquis deal and I am delighted to congratulate him on this achievement.”
Oliver Bevan has worked at Dunedin for nearly thirteen years and is responsible for sourcing and executing deals across the UK. This year, he led the MBO of Acquis enabling the management team, led by CEO Nick Leader, to drive the business’ international growth with support and funding from Dunedin. Oliver has also worked on the buyouts of GPS, FRA, Kingsbridge, Alpha and EV Offshore. He currently represents Dunedin on the Boards of Acquis, GPS and Kingsbridge.
