Nicol Fraser joined Dunedin in 2001 and has 16 years private equity experience. He has overall responsibility for Dunedin's portfolio of investments and represents Dunedin directly on the Boards of Kee Safety, CitySprint, Formaplex and Weldex. Nicol focuses on the Industrial sector, with particular experience in Specialist Manufacturing and is responsible for sourcing investment opportunities in the West Midlands. Outside of work Nicol has particular interest in sport (triathlon, rugby and skiing) and music.
He graduated with a BCom from the University of Edinburgh in 1988 and qualified as a chartered accountant with Tenon in 1991. Following qualification, he joined the corporate recovery team and subsequently qualified as an Insolvency Practitioner in 1996. He joined Bridgepoint in 1996, where he gained experience of buyouts throughout the UK.
