Simon Rowan joined Dunedin in 2008. He is responsible for transacting deals across the UK.
He graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2003 with an MA Honours in Business and Economics. After graduating, he joined Walter Scott & Partners as a trainee fund manager and equity analyst. He then moved to London to join HSBC in their UK Corporate Treasury and FX Trading team before moving across to HSBC Investments as a quantitative analyst in their Multimanager division. Simon then spent two years in New York as a product specialist and manager of investment managers before returning to London as an associate in HSBC's Private Equity team where he was responsible for sourcing, negotiating and delivering deals. Simon has also completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program and is a former Scottish under 18, under 19 and under 21 rugby internationalist.
