Duncan Macrae joined Dunedin in 2001, becoming a Director in 2007. He is responsible for originating deals in Manchester and the East Midlands and also focuses on the healthcare sector. He worked on the buyouts of Fernau, WFEL, Caledonian, New Horizons and Practice Plan.
He has an MA in chemistry from Cambridge University and subsequently qualified as a chartered accountant in 1995 with Coopers & Lybrand. He moved into industry with Dawson International as group financial accountant before joining the corporate finance department of Noble & Company, the Edinburgh merchant bank in 1998. Duncan is a former Scottish under 18, under 19 and under 21 rugby internationalist.
